BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Directors (BOD) consists of 9-12 members. Current board members are:

Bill Davisson, Board President-Elect, Retired Business Owner and Philanthropist
Eric DeBelly, Board Treasurer, AT&T IT Manager
Denise Jacobsen, Board Secretary, City of Monroe Administrator
William Raser, Board Member, Cascade Bank Vice-President
Terry Simon, Board Member, Attorney
Ken Perrine, Board Member, Owner of Kool Change Printing
Eldon Bartelheimer, Board Member, Owner of Hill Street Cleaners
Dave Hayes, Board Member, Manager of Albertsons
Neil Watkins, Non-Voting Board Member, Food Bank Executive Director
The Board of Directors works in partnership with the Executive Director to set the food bank’s direction. The food bank’s governance responsibilities fall into four major areas:
VISION—The board focuses the work of the Exec. Director and volunteers through a strategic planning process.
STRUCTURE—The board governs the food bank through prudent planning and oversight, and diligent, innovative policy making.
ACCOUNTABILITY—The board infuses all food bank programs and crucial policies with specific goals and processes for evaluating, reporting, and recommending improvements.
ADVOCACY—The board champions the food bank’s needs in the local community.
The Executive Director is a non-voting member of the BOD. The Exec. Director supervises the everyday operations. In addition, the Exec. Director acts as the conduit between the food bank and the community at large.
ACCOUNTING
The Sky Valley Food Bank (SVFB), uses the accounting firm of Quackenbush and Hansen in Monroe, for all accounting services, including the preparation of tax returns.

The Sky Valley Food Bank prides itself on its organization, community relations, and friendly helpful volunteers. We are always working to better serve the (under privileged) in all aspects related to hunger, and to thank contributors for their generosity.
