This building is used for all the day-to-day operations of the food bank. The facility measures approximately 3700 square feet, including two offices, a warehouse and the distribution center. It houses a walk-in cooler and freezer, providing approximately 500 square feet of cold storage for meats and perishable products. Here donations are delivered, sorted, stocked and distributed. All administrative work is also done within these walls.
The food bank has a board of directors and is registered with the state and the federal government as a non-profit corporation. There are approximately 70 in-house volunteers.
