The Sky Valley Food Bank wants to issue a big thank you to the schools in the Monroe School District. Once again the young people in our community stepped up to the plate to help provide a joyous holiday for those in need. Fryelands Elementary and Park Place Middle School both held very successful toy drives for our “Hope for the Holidays” program. The food drives at Salem Woods Elementary and Chain Lake Elementary contributed thousands of pounds of food as well as thousands of dollars in cash and toys.
We want all of these students to know how much their efforts are appreciated both by our volunteers and the people we serve
